Britt Freund, PhD

Dr. R. Britt Freund is Assistant Dean and Senior Lecturer of the Executive Education Programs, and Director of the Shell Project Management Academy, and a member of the Management Faculty at the University of Texas at Austin.

Dr. Freund was also formerly the Assistant Graduate Business Dean and Director of the MBA program at UT Austin. Dr. Freund earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UT Austin in 1985. He earned his M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Ph.D. in Operations Management from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. He has worked with a variety of companies including Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Frito-Lay, Motorola and many more. He has taught in several universities worldwide including Thammasat University, Thailand.
