MK 613: STRATEGIC BRAND MANAGEMENT (FOR MIM-31)
During October 31 - November 11, 2017 MIM-31 will be studying the course MK 613: Strategic Brand Management.  This course will focus on brands and brand portfolios as valuable assets at competing firms; customer-based brand equity; brand image and brand personality; brand elements; consumption experiences; and brand marketing programs.  The decisions and processes to build and maintain brand equity will also be emphasized.  This course will be taught by Dr. Wiboon Arunthanes who is Regional and Business Development Director of Moet Hennessy Asia Pacific Pte, Ltd, based in Singapore.  We would like to share with you his impressive profile as follows:   
 
Dr. Wiboon earned his bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from Chulalongkorn University, MBA degree (majoring in Marketing) from Thammasat Business School and doctoral degree in Business Administration (majoring in Marketing) from University of Maryland, College Park, U.S.A.  After his doctoral degree graduation Dr Wiboon had been teaching at the University of Maryland for several years.  He has long and broad experiences in teaching classes related to Marketing Management, Product Management, and conducting marketing simulations in large numbers of universities both in Thailand and abroad.  Before moving to Singapore, Dr. Wiboon was posted in Taiwan, with the same company.   
 
Dr. Wiboon has been with the MIM program since MIM-5 and is a key person helping MIM in its Europe corporate visitations to Moet & Chandon in France - the biggest and most sophisticated champagne house in the world.

An Interview with CNN by Krating Poonpol (MIM-14)
One of the most notable and successful MIM alumni who has jostled promising startups in Thailand should be no other man than Krating (Ruangroj) Poonpol.
During December 8-17, 2017, MIM-30 will have another chance to study one more IT course: MK 725 Business Strategies for a Networked Economy with Professor Dr. Anitesh Barua who has been regarded as an IT Guru in this field. 
The second Open House at MIM: "MIM INSIDER TALK" will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2018 (10.00 - 12.30 hrs.), at the Ballroom 1 & 2, on 7th Floor, of the Hotel Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit on Sukhumvit Road (between Soi 13-15, BTS: Asoke).
