Prof. Dr. Philip C. Zerrillo
Executive Chairman,
Master's Degree Program in Marketing
Welcome to the Thammasat University Master's in Marketing. I think you will find, as I have, that this is a program that is like no other, as it not only challenges the student's intellectual capacity, but also changes their character. We are very proud of our 'MIMers' as each year a diverse group of students come together and not only continue the legacy of this program but boldly create their future. That is what MIM graduates are, bold creative, adaptable and passionate.

Having administered many graduate programs at both Eastern and Western universities I find the MIM culture to be one of great rigor, energy, commitment and concern for each other. MIM is a place of great ideas, housed in a culture that enables the students to accomplish more than they ever thought they were capable of. It is truly a place where dreams are begun and bright futures become possible.

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Thammasat University MIM program. And we hope to see you here soon.

This course will focus on brands and brand portfolios as valuable assets at competing firms; customer-based brand equity; brand image and brand personality; brand elements; consumption experiences; and brand marketing programs.  The decisions and processes to build and maintain brand equity will also be emphasized.
This course will provide an understanding of how the strategic and tactical roles of a channel can be identified and managed. This is accomplished firstly through studying the broad economic and social forces that govern the channel evolution.  It is completed through the examination of tools to select, manage, coordinate and motivate channel partners.
